Our Philosophy
Silt Media is currently under construction. But our philosophy is clear: we are a platform for writers and stories from every point of view.About politics: Silt Media will not engage in political discussions. We just tell stories.About algorithms: Silt Media will avoid these as much as possible. We'll create some tools to allow users to search content and find what they like.About generative AI: No. This applies to writing and design. You will be asked to declare that your work was not made by generative AI before submission.About diversity and inclusion: we won't use identity as a filter. We're here for stories.
Our Plan
Silt Media Group aims to follow and promote stories from creative writers across all mediums.
We begin with Tributary Press sharing fanfiction, publishing novels and short stories. Poetry is welcome too!
For our screen-writers, we have the Delta Screen studio, where stories leap from the page to the screen.
And for our viewers: SiltStream, a streaming service focused on stories.
Silt Media is in it's infancy. But watch this space. The stories are coming.

Where it all began
Silt Media exists because I got woken up by my husband’s puppy at 3am.After more than a decade of writing as a hobby, I actually completed a manuscript and started querying, only to realise I didn’t have the patience for the process. That and a cost-benefit analysis pointed out what we all secretly know: how good you are may not have any bearing on whether or not you get a shot at traditional publishing. So I decided to stop playing a game with a less than one percent success rate and just build my own company.Silt Media is the parent company of Tributary Press and Delta Screen Studios. This platform is built for stories. Fan fics, novels, short stories: let’s see them.No algorithm. No agenda. Just tell your stories.So here it is: a little platform for writers that were always good enough. Just not the lucky ones.Everyone deserves to be heard. This is my attempt to make sure you are.
